South African rapper, AKA, has refused to apologise over seemingly offensive comments made regarding the renewed xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in South Africa.
The rapper had come under criticism on Tuesday after a clash with Nigerian rapper and songwriter, Ycee.

AKA had on Wednesday called for an end to the trolling on social media after he was attacked by more Nigerian celebrities.
“PLEASE!!! Can we STOP? We are going to make things worse for everybody on both sides. We need each other! 🇿🇦🇳🇬…please. Can we stop? We are supposed to be leading our people,” he said.
However, when asked by singer Ice Prince to apologise for his tweets, AKA asked “For what?”
Since reports of the attacks in South Africa broke, Nigerians have stormed the premises of several businesses of South African origin such as Shoprite and MTN in Ibadan, Lagos, and a few other locations.
