Actress and movie producer, Ego Boyo, turned 51 on Saturday, the same day her marriage to Omamofe Boyo clocked 27 years.
The former president of the International Women Society (IWS), an independent, non-political, non-governmental and non-profit organisation founded in 1957, celebrated the double milestones with a number of Facebook posts.

“Gratitude to God. Thankful. Joyful,” she wrote in one of the posts.
Born in Enugu State, Ego rose to fame for her role as Ann Haastrup in the NTA 80s soap, Checkmate, alongside Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD) and others.
She has starred in movies such as 30 Days, Akanchawa and Violated.

The businesswoman is the founder and managing director of Temple Productions.
Her production credit includes Keeping Faith, a film directed by Steve Gukas, and starring RMD, Joke Silva, Genevieve Nnaji, Bimbo Akintola, Funlola Aofiyebi and Fred Amata.
