National leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, is in Abuja ahead of the presidential election tribunal verdict expected to be delivered on Wednesday morning.
Also in the Federal Capital Territory is former national chairman of the party, Bisi Akande.

Both men arrived on Monday night and had dinner with President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House, a source familiar with the matter told Qed.ng.
“Some APC governors also arrived Abuja yesterday (Tuesday).
“Their convoys were seen at the governors’ lodges in Asokoro area of Abuja,” the source told our correspondent.
He added, “chairman of the Nigerian Governors’ Forum, Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, is arriving Abuja this morning for the ‘victory parley’ with President Buhari.”

Nigeria’s presidential election was held on February 23.
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and its presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, filed a petition challenging Buhari’s victory on March 18.
They are asking the tribunal to invalidate the results initially declared by INEC where Mr Buhari was said to have polled 15,191,847 Votes to emerge winner of the elections.

PDP accused the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of manipulating what the petitioners described as the actual results of the election to amass illegal votes for Mr Buhari.
The PDP and its presidential candidate also accused INEC of storing the real results of the 2019 election in a central server.
