Former minister of aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has attacked Vice President Yemi Osinbajo over the latter’s threat to sue a former spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Timi Frank.
Mr Frank had alleged that Prof. Osinbajo mismanaged N90 billion reportedly given to him by the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) for the 2019 elections.

“When confronted by the presidency, he confirmed to General Buhari that he indeed allegedly took N90billion from FIRS but it was used for the 2019 presidential election campaign in strategic states of the South-west,” Frank said in a report published on Vanguard website on Monday.
“Gen Buhari asked for a breakdown of how the money was spent and he said he gave N11 billion to Lagos state APC leader but when the said national leader and one former APC chairman were invited for an explanation, it was confirmed that Osinbajo gave only N5billion and not N11billion to Lagos state.
“The cabal is asking to know how come they beat PDP in the South-west with less than 60,000 votes if the money was actually spent in the strategic states of the South-west as allegedly claimed.”
Osinbajo said on Wednesday that he was ready to waive his immunity to clear his name in the face of “malicious falsehoods” against him.

In reaction, Mr Fani-Kayode in a tweet on Thursday asked the Vice President to resign his position and engage Frank “man to man.”
He said: “If you are really a man don’t just waive your immunity to sue Timi Frank but resign from your position and take him on man to man. He will eat you for breakfast. I know that young man: he is a real Ijaw! Deeply courageous and tough as nails. U cannot intimidate him or break him.”
