Winner of the 2001 Big Brother Africa 3 (All-Stars), Uti Nwachukwu, has revealed that he shared his prize money with fellow housemates.
The actor and TV host, in a tweet on Tuesday, revealed that he gave $5,000 each to three of the top five housemates of that edition.

Uti was responding to a Twitter user who mocked him for saying the prize money for the 2019 Big Brother Naija winner (N60 million) should be shared between the last five housemates – Mercy, Omashola, Seyi, Mike and Frodd.
“I actually shared my prize money. I gave 5k dollars each to 3 of the top5 housemates of my season. Ask them. #Bbnaija,” he said.
Uti had in August predicted that Mercy would beat others to win the on-going Big Brother Naija.
He said the other contestants can only get the second position at best.
The 37-year-old called for the eviction of recently disqualified housemate, Tacha, after she pulled Mercy’s hair during a fight last Friday.

He later made a U-turn to say nobody should be disqualified.
Tacha was, however, sent out of the show for physical violence while Mercy was given two strikes for not walking away from a volatile situation.
