Olakunle Churchill, ex-husband of Nollywood actress, Tonto Dikeh, has celebrated his mother on her birthday.
The entrepreneur begged for his mother’s forgiveness in a post on Instagram on Wednesday, promising to retrace his steps.

He wrote: “I am delighted to wish my mum more blessings and happiness beyond wildest imaginations. She is the sweetest of all treasures in my life. Mum, I may have caused you embarrassment and shame in recent times as regards my restiveness and nonchalance. But I have learnt enough and the experience has brought me closer to God.
“I want to seek your forgiveness today with promises of retracing my steps because you deserve the best. You remain the greatest and most outstanding mother in the world. I love you now, today and forever. Thanks for being a wonderful mum. Happy birthday to Mama Kunle.”

Tonto, in an interview with PlusTVAfrica published on May 1, alleged that she fed Churchill’s mother during a trip to London contrary to claims by her ex-husband that his mother took care of her.
Tonto Dikeh married Olakunle Churchill in 2015. The duo bore a son, Andre Churchill, in 2016. Their marriage ended in 2017 over allegations of domestic abuse and extra-marital affairs.
