“Glad to have received my first award in Nigeria. It was a privilege to have been awarded the Excellence in Service to the Diaspora Award at the recently concluded Nigerian Day Awards organised by the founder of Sapio Club, Sonnia Agu. Greater things to come,” he wrote.
Jermaine reportedly became the first government official from Nigeria to visit El Salvador following his trip to the country in September.
El Salvador is the smallest and the most densely populated country in Central America. As of 2016, the country had a population of approximately 6.34 million.
He was in the country for the Afro Descendientes Events and Festival.
