Pop star, Ayo Balogun, otherwise known as Wizkid, turned 24 on Wednesday, July 16. The “Dance for Me” singer did a lot of “Azonto” and “Pakurumo” with friends and colleagues at Escape Nightclub in Lagos on that day to celebrate the milestone. Present at the party were Banky W, Shaydee, Skales, Timaya, Seyi Shay and many others who could not resist the temptation to “Holla at Your Boy”.
For fans who could not make it to the gig, Wizkid dropped a new song titled “Show you the Money” and released a video to go with the single on his birthday. The video, directed by Patrick Ellis, was shot in Surulere where Wizkid grew up.
Wizkid also used the occasion of his birthday to announce he would be doing a collaboration with Rihanna in his next album. Now, that is something to look out for.
