Deep Offshore (and Inland Basin Production Sharing Contract) Act was recently passed into law by the National Assembly.
Tweeting on Monday, Buhari said history had been made by the signing of the bill into law.
“This is a landmark moment for Nigeria; let me use this opportunity to thank the National Assembly for the cooperation that produced this long-overdue amendment,” he wrote.

President Buhari failed to transfer power to Vice President Yemi Osinbajo as had been the case severally.
Barring any changes, all memos, bills and other documents requiring the President’s signature must be taken to London for signing.
