Jack Ma, China’s richest man and co-founder of e-commerce multinational conglomerate, Alibaba, has arrived Nigeria.
Mr Ma, who is worth $39.7 billion, is in the country to attend the first Nigeria Digital Economy Summit, holding in Abuja.

He met Vice President Yemi Osinbajo on his arrival on Thursday with a large delegation of Chinese businessmen.
Prof Osinbajo said in a tweet that it was a pleasure receiving Ma at his office.
“It was a pleasure receiving Jack Ma today at the office. Thank you for acknowledging Nigeria’s role in Africa and the world. By leading a team of investors to Nigeria, I hope you see as we do, investment opportunities in Africa’s digital economy, infrastructure and her people,” he wrote.

Osinbajo’s spokesman, Laolu Akande, also tweeted saying Ma recalled his meeting with Osinbajo in Davos, Switzerland where he was invited for the summit.
