The Federal High Court has admitted Faisal Maina, son of ex-chairman of the defunct Pension Reform Task Team, Abdulrasheed Maina, to bail in the sum of N60 million.
Justice Okon Abang, ruling on Tuesday, also said the defendant should produce a surety, who must be a member of the House of Representatives in the like sum.

The same court had on Monday granted Maina bail of N1 billion with two sureties in like sum.
Faisal was docked on a three-count charge bordering on money laundering which he pleaded not guilty to.
Justice Abang on October 25 ordered that Faisal’s father be remanded in Kuje Correctional Service centre, while Faisal be kept in police custody at Police Tactical Squad, Asokoro, based on the investigation on allegation of possession of firearms and resistance to arrest.
