Nollywood actor, Saidi Balogun, says he would hold a grand celebration in memory of his late mum whose death he announced on November 25.
The 52-year-old, in a post on Instagram on Thursday, thanked colleagues and family members for attending the 8th-day Fidau of his mother.

The 8th-day Fidau, in Islam, is a compendium of rites observed eight days after a person dies.
“Kindly note that the celebration of her life and grand finale would come up in March 2020. We will keep you apprised of new development as time progresses,” he wrote.
Saidi Balogun used to be married to actress, Faithia Williams.
They wedded on September 2000 at the Ikorodu Marriage Registry in Lagos.

Their marriage produced two children, Khalid and Aliyah Balogun.
The lovebirds, however, separated for a few years before getting officially divorced on January 17, 2014.
