Afro-fusion star, Burna Boy, has paid homage to the Elegushi of Ikateland, His Royal Majesty Oba Saheed Elegushi, Kusenla III.
In a picture shared by the monarch on Tuesday evening on Instagram, Burna Boy is seen alongside his mother, Bose Ogulu, cheering Oba Elegushi on.

It is not known if the pair met at a recent event.
Burna Boy’s African Giant album received a Grammy Awards nomination in November.

The widely-acclaimed album released in 2019 was selected in the Best World Music Album category alongside Angelique Kidjo’s Celia among others.
The news threw Nigerians into excitement with many calling on Burna to bring the award home.
