In a tweet on Tuesday, Mr Okowa said he was attracted by the boy’s resilience, prompting him to request a selfie.
“Yesterday, this young boy from Warri had been smiling and taking pictures of me during my inspection of our construction projects. At some point, seeing his resilience — I had to ask him: ‘Wouldn’t you like to take a selfie?’” he said.
Okowa recently signed N395.47 billion 2020 budget for the state with a promise to fast-track infrastructural projects for the benefit of Deltans.
