Ace comedian, Alibaba, has criticised an Air Peace flight passenger who was jailed for two weeks for smoking on board.
A magistrate court in Ogba, Lagos, sentenced the passenger on Wednesday but with an option of N200,000 fine.

In a post on Instagram, Alibaba questioned the desire in the passenger to smoke in an aeroplane despite warnings.
“Must we be like this all the time? The rule is No Smoking on a plane. Is that too much to adhere to? Is the compulsion to smoke so strong? Do people die from not smoking for a few hours of a flight? Now the habit is going to make you go habit a cell because you felt like doing what you like,” he said.

A flight attendant, Adewale Oyebade, caught the passenger smoking a cigarette while carrying out safety checks during the flight.
The incident took place on Air Peace flight P4 7558 which was heading to Lagos from Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE) on December 11.
