Founder and CEO of Genevieve Magazine, Betty Irabor, has celebrated her daughter, Sonia, on clocking 30.
Sonia is the magazine’s editor.
Betty, however, shared several pictures on Friday on Instagram with brief captions to mark Sonia’s 30th birthday.
Sonia was appointed editor of the publication in July 2017.
She started writing for the magazine as a 13-year-old with the column, Teen Zone.
Sonia served as assistant editor and UK correspondent of the magazine before her elevation to the post of editor.
In an interview with YNaija earlier in 2017, she spoke of her plan for Genevieve Magazine: “The journey is far from over and there is still a great deal of unchartered territory for us. We want to keep redefining the magazine and keep giving our readers – old and new – something fresh and exciting to look forward to, to be inspired by and to fall in love with.”
