It was a night of vintage music at the COSON Green Ball on Wednesday at the Shell Hall, Muson Centre, Onikan, Lagos.
Iconic reggae artistes Majek Fashek, Ras Kimono and Victor Essiet of The Mandators were among those who delivered spectacular performances to thrill the audience.
Rainmaker, Majek, was the first to grace the stage with his signature red garment and bell before changing to a pair of jeans and shirt.
He performed various tracks including the hit ‘Send down the Rain’.
Ras Kimono soon joined him on stage to up the tempo and the audience went wild in appreciation.
Victor Essiet also took the stage to drop a verse to remind the audience of when reggae music ruled the country particularly in the 80s and 90s.
Hosted by comedian, MC Smith, the event was also attended by various dignitaries including 2015 Lagos governorship candidate, Jimi Agbaje, Senator Florence Ita-Giwa who was the chairman of the occasion, Bisi Olatilo and COSON chairman Tony Okoroji
The Green Ball is part of the ongoing COSON Week which shall witness the COSON Awards on Friday, November 6 at the Eko Hotel & Suits, Victoria Island, Lagos.
