Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham, has expressed love and adoration for her husband, Kola Ajeyemi, as he celebrates another birthday.
In an Instagram post early on Friday morning, the mother of one described her fellow actor as the one God used to cover her shame.
Writing in Yoruba, Toyin called Kolawole “oko mi, ololufe mi, olowo ori mi (my husband, lover and one who paid a price over me)”.
She added: “Iwo ni eledumare fi se aso bo ihoho mi (you are the one God used to cover my nakedness)”.
Nakedness depicts shame in Yorubaland.
The post continues with other deep words of endearment and prayer, ending with “Happy birthday my love. Ife wa, titi laye laye ni (our love is forever)
“I love you now and forever.”
Toyin and Kolawole went public with their relationship in August last year after the birth of their son, Ire.
The actress was formerly married to another actor, Adeniyi Johnson, whom she left over allegation of infidelity.
After her marriage with Johnson crashed, Toyin went into an ill-advised relationship with self-acclaimed movie producer, Seun Egbegbe, who has been in prison since February 2017 for failing to meet the N5m bail granted him by the Federal High Court in Lagos.
Egbegbe was arrested for allegedly obtaining money by false pretences from no fewer than 40 bureau de change operators in different parts of Lagos from 2015 to 2017.
Toyin’s marriage to Johnson and affair with Egbegbe are dark spots in an otherwise successful career.
Her marriage to Kolawole is celebrated as a brilliant personal and professional move.
Kola on his part has a teenage daughter named Temitope Ajeyemi from an earlier relationship with another woman.
