Ex-Nigeria international, Odion Ighalo, has arrived in Manchester following his transfer deadline-day switch from Shanghai Shenhua.
Ighalo told Sky Sports on Sunday on arrival from China that the move was a ‘dream come true’ for him.
“It is a dream come true because since I was kid I always dreamt about Man United,” he said.
“This is reality now. It has been crazy, but I am happy to be in Manchester and this is a great opportunity for me.
“I am happy to work hard with the team, and to finish very well this season.”
Ighalo has had a spell in the Premier League playing for Watford before his move to China. The 30-year-old will play as cover for injured Marcus Rashford until the end of the season.
He scored 39 times in 99 appearances for Watford before moving to Changchun Yatai in January 2017, and then Shanghai Shenhua two years later.
