Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie, has warned ‘Nollywood practitioners’ to desist from insisting on sexual gratification before offering movie roles.
The 38-year-old, in a tweet on Tuesday, condemned the act, saying it has ‘wrecked many men’.
“I condemn sex for jobs completely. If na ur way, hear this advice. If you promise a girl a job in exchange for sex, once she gives you make sure you do not fail her. If she swear for you, your own don finish. This matter has wrecked many men especially Nollywood practitioners,” he said.
Higher institutions of learning have in recent times in the country been in the spotlight over sex-for-grades scandals.
Despite its prevalence in Nollywood, the scourge remains less exposed in the public space.
