Nollywood performers and former couple, Faithia Williams and Saidi Balogun, have begun celebrating their birthdays.
Although born in different years, the duo share same birthday and light up February 5 every year.
Faithia, who is currently in Dubai, shared her excitement at clocking 51 on Instagram.
“Woooooooowwwwww🙈😻😻😻 it’s 12am here in Dubai💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻 But I will still wait for you guys to wish me in Nigeria time🙈❤ Happiest Birthday To Me❤❤❤❤❤ May God keep guiding and protecting me🙏🏻 Am so happy🙈🙈🙈,” she said.
Saidi Balogun clocking 53 thanked God for his life and prayed for his fans.
“I thank almighty Allah as I celebrate my new age. I thank all my fans for the love shown to me over the years. For those who have been supportive and have been a blessing may you be blessed as well. It’s my prayer that as I celebrate another year today may celebrations never seize in our homes. God bless you,” he said.
Faithia Williams and Saidi Balogun got married in September 2000 in Lagos.
Their marriage produced two children, Khalid and Aliyah Balogun.
The duo separated for a few years before getting officially divorced on January 17, 2014.
Faithia reverted to her maiden name, ‘Williams,’ three years after the divorce was finalised.
Despite the divorce, they are occasionally seen together in public places.
