President Muhammadu Buhari has inducted three fighter helicopters – two Agusta 109P helicopter and one Mi-171E helicopter.
At the induction ceremony on Thursday at the Eagles Square, President Buhari said the new helicopters would aid the fight against insecurity.
Buhari’s media aide, Bashir Ahmad, said in a tweet that the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) under the present administration has procured and inducted 22 fighter aircrafts and helicopter gunships.
Mr Ahmad added that 17 additional aircrafts are expected.
