Wife of the Vice President, Dolapo Osinbajo; chairman/CEO of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa; and Nollywood actress, Funke Adesiyan, have all celebrated First Lady Aisha Buhari on her 49th birthday.
Mrs Osinbajo, in a post on Instagram on Monday, said a brief prayer for Mrs Buhari.
“Happy birthday to H.E @aishambuhari the First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. God bless you on your special day, amen,” she said.
Mrs Dabiri-Erewa used words of admiration to describe Aisha in her own post on Instagram.
“Happy birthday YE @aishambuhari, a woman of deep courage and conviction. Doting mother, amazing wife, friend of the oppressed and underprivileged. May almighty Allah continue to guide and guard you,” she said.
Funke Adesiyan, who was last October appointed Personal Assistant to the First Lady on Domestic and Social Events, wrote a lengthy note in honour of her principal.
“Today and everyday I celebrate an Amazon, my Mum, the First Lady and mother of the Nation on your birthday,” she began.
“Your virtues, noble deeds and solace to the downtrodden couple, your zeal and determination for the right of women, children and the vulnerable in our society stands you out mummy.
“You are a woman who walks the talk and you cheer diligence when you see one. I invite all women and children to join me to celebrate the advocate of a better Nigeria, our Goggo of Africa!”
Aisha’s husband, President Muhammadu Buhari, clocked 77 last December.
