Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, has paid a condolence visit to the family of a footballer who was signed to Remo Stars FC and killed on February 22.
In the visit on Tuesday, Mr Abidoun told the deceased’s family that the death of Tiamiyu Kazeem was a loss not only to Sagamu but the whole of Ogun.
He also visited the Akarigbo and the Paramount Ruler of Remoland, Oba Babatunde Ajayi, to commiserate with him on the loss.
Kazeem was killed during a scuffle with police officers who wanted to take him in on allegation of being an internet fraudster.
He was allegedly pushed from a police van to an oncoming vehicle in Sagamu.
The governor said two policemen have been arrested over the incident. He assured that justice would prevail in the case.
