Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti, has said that parents should not blame singer, Naira Marley, for their children’s behaviour.
The 37-year-old shared his views on the matter in a recent interview with Qed TV, saying: “The buck starts and stops with the parents. If kids are with false values or wrong values, it’s the parents’ fault. Y’all should leave Naira Marley and his people alone.”
The son of the late Afrobeat legend, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, also described himself as a lazy person, because he only performs at the Afrika Shrine once a month, compared to his brother, Femi, who performs twice a week.
Even though Seun will be appearing in Kunle Afolayan’s new movie, Citation, he said he was not sure if it technically counts as an acting debut.
Seun will only be playing music in the movie with his real name.
