Football fans have expressed disappointment at DStv for not showing 2019/2020 Europa League matches.
It is the second consecutive season for which the South African company will not broadcast the world’s second most prestigious club competition.
DStv, owned by MultiChoice, had stated earlier that it will not broadcast Europa League matches in Nigeria and some other parts of Africa.
The Europa League became more popular in Africa last season after Arsenal played the competition having failed to qualify for the Champions League.
On the night former Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo, makes his Manchester United start as the Red Devils face Club Brugge in the second leg of the round of 32, fans were left fuming at their inability to watch the match.
Arsenal are also playing Olympiacos of Greece in the Europa League, adding to the number of frustrated fans.
