Singer, Timi Dakolo, has discredited rumour of his father’s death.
In a post on Instagram late Thursday, the 39-year-old expressed sadness over the rumour, saying a ‘simple investigation’ would prevent false reports.
“You people should try and leave me alone. My father is alive and doing well. I wonder how you people come up with this information. I didn’t say anything about my father being dead. A simple investigation would do the world much good,” the singer said.
Timi Dakolo had days ago sparked rumour of his father’s death after he announced the passing of an unnamed man.
A few days ago, Timi was also thought to have neglected his immediate family after a woman, Michelle Dakolo, accused her brother of such.
Timi later confirmed that the woman was his cousin and that she was most likely talking about her brother.
