President Muhammadu Buhari has sworn in the new Head of Civil Service of the Federation (HoS), Folashade Yemi-Esan.
Mrs Yemi-Esan was sworn in on Wednesday at the Executive Council Chambers of the State House, before the commencement of the weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
This comes after President Buhari approved the retirement of Winifred Oyo-Ita as HoS with effect from February 27.
Yemi-Esan was born on August 13, 1964, and was appointed a Permanent Secretary in 2012.
She has served in the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Federal Ministries of Information, Education and Petroleum Resources.
She also served as the Secretary to the Committee on the Selection of Permanent Secretaries in the office of the HoS.
Her last appointment was as Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Petroleum Resources.
