Singer, Naira Marley, has responded after music producer, Sarz, revealed he (Naira Marley) did not know him personally before name-dropping him in his 2019 song, ‘Am I A Yahoo Boy’.
The 25-year-old responded to Sarz’s comments on Twitter on Tuesday with a joke about American rapper, Cardi B, before wishing him a happy birthday.
The ‘Mafo’ singer wrote: “I met a girl at the club last night, she said her name’s Cardi B. I replied the only Cardi B I know is the one that sang ‘little bitch you can’t f**k with me if you wanted to’ loool happy birthday Sarz.”
To celebrate his 31st birthday on Tuesday, Sarz had told a story about how Naira Marley failed to recognise him when they first met even after claiming to know him in his song.
The Benin City-born producer tweeted: “My point is, Naira didn’t know Sarz when he recorded that song.”
