Nollywood actress, Nse Ikpe-Etim, has announced she is currently in self-isolation after returning from a trip to the United Kingdom which is one of the countries with a high incidence of the coronavirus.
The 45-year-old made this known on Twitter on Friday.
The Fifty actress tweeted, “Hi lovelies, yesterday, in the morning, I returned to Lagos from the UK – one of the countries listed as a COVID-19 hotspot by the Federal Ministry of Health. I am presently in self-isolation according to the directives of the NCDC and in constant communication with them.”
She, however, explained that she was not showing any symptoms yet and advised her followers to take precautions against the virus.
When a user on the platform implied that she was not really alone as her picture looks like it was taken by someone else, she replied, “Investigator… does your phone have a timer? Do you have pillows for support? Can I face the real issues here while you stop trolling?”
Nse’s announcement comes after First Lady Aisha Buhari announced on Thursday that one of her daughters is also in self-isolation after returning from the UK.
