Billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, has announced a N1 billion donation to help Nigeria fight the coronavirus pandemic.
The 57-year-old made the announcement on Instagram on Friday.
Mr Otedola wrote, “I will be contributing N1 billion towards the eradication of COVID-19 across Nigeria. We must all do what we can to flatten the curve.”
Other individuals who have made similar donations include the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, who announced a N50 million donation on Tuesday.
Chinese businessman, Jack Ma, donated 100,000 face masks, 1,000 protective gowns and 20,000 test kits which were received on Thursday.
