Media personality, Adesuwa Onyeknokwe, who was the mentor on the Ultimate Love reality TV show, has explained why Kachi and Rosie, jointly known as Roksie, won the competition.
Mrs Onyenokwe, who was known as ‘Aunty’ on the show, explained that the couple won because their love is natural and organic.
The 57-year-old said, “Just like with food, when love unfolds naturally and organically, it is strong, rich and enduring.”
She admitted that her biggest challenge on the show was convincing the love guests that she had no favourites.
“Convincing the love guests that I had no favourites was quite a challenge, especially when I had to save a nominated couple weekly,” she said.
The Ibadan-born presenter also revealed that she drew on her experience as a journalist, a mother and a life coach to mentor the love guests.
Speaking on the concept of the show, Mrs Onyenokwe said, “The Ultimate Love reality show is an idea whose time has come. Every human needs love and association and once the platform is there, it will bloom.”
Adesuwa Onyenokwe was born in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
She is a TV presenter, a motivational speaker and an elocution trainer.
