The Actors’ Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has released a video urging Nigerians to stay safe amid the coronavirus pandemic.
A corporate social responsibility project by the Emeka Rollas-led association, the video features actors like Chioma Akpotha, Femi Branch, Kanayo O. Kanayo (KOK). Segun Arinze, Femi Adebayo and Yul Edochie.
Others are Chidinma and Chidiebere Aneke (Aneke Twins), Monalisa Chinda, Real Warri Pikin, Desmond Elliot, Nancy Isime, Zark Orji, Chris Inojie and Halima Abubakar.
The video urges Nigerians to stay at home to reduce the chances of infection and follow other advice by health authorities.
Nigeria currently has 318 confirmed coronavirus infection with 10 death.
President Muhammadu Buhari has imposed a lockdown on the Federal Capital Territory, Lagos and Ogun states, with governors of other states also restricting movement.
Writing in an Instagram post, AGN spokesperson, Monalisa said: “From world records no nation has lifted their lockdown. Every nation is extending. We do not know for how long this will last.”
