Lagos State Government has announced the recovery and discharge of six coronavirus patients.
The government said on Monday via Twitter that the patients were released from the Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, after testing negative twice for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
“Six more persons have been discharged from the Mainland Infectious Disease Hospital, Yaba, having recovered fully and tested negative to #COVID19, bringing the total number of discharged patients to 61,” the tweet read.
Overall, Lagos has 179 confirmed COVID-19 cases.
