Singer, Olawale Oloforo, popularly known as Brymo, has explained why he wore a G-string in the video for his 2018 song, ‘Heya’.
The 33-year-old gave the reason for his choice on Tuesday in reply to a Twitter user who asked for an explanation.
He tweeted, “Because that was the height of advancement in clothing across the continent before others came and gave us real clothes…”
The video shows the Lagos-born singer playing the piano in public wearing nothing but a G-string.
In an interview with Pulse TV in March that year, he explained his decision, saying, “I decided to appear how my forbears dressed before the arrival of civilization to Nubian continent.”
