Singer, Simisola Ogunleye, popularly known as Simi, has distanced herself from a blog promotion website which used a picture of her to advertise its services.
The 31-year-old did this on Twitter on Wednesday in response to a fan who asked if she knew about it.
She tweeted, “I do not.”
In December 2019, fellow singer, Tiwa Savage, similarly distanced herself from a video which appeared to show her advertising a church programme and even threatened legal action against the church.
She said, ”It has been brought to my attention that there is a viral video which includes me advertising an upcoming church event. I want to state that I have nothing to do with the church and certainly do not endorse their events. This is wrong. I will be taking action if this is not immediately retracted.”
