Celebrity publisher, Dele Momodu, has described his 60th birthday party as the virtual party of the year.
Mr Momodu held a virtual party on Saturday for over four hours which was well attended by high profile individuals including Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, a former Ghanaian President, John Mahama, Liberia’s Vice President, Jewel Taylor; Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Senator Dino Melaye, Tony Elumelu, Banky W, Sade Okoya, Larry Izamoje, Nduka Obaigbena, Alex Duduyemi and Pastor Tunde Bakare, among others.
In an Instagram post on Monday, Momodu said he had not stopped receiving goodwill messages, adding that responding to every single message would take a while.
“If we are yet to thank everyone who supported this VIRTUAL PARTY of the Year, individually and personally, please forgive us; the deluge of support and goodwill messages is still overflowing and overwhelming,” the chairman, Ovation Media Group, wrote.
“It may take weeks to read all and respond accordingly… God knows you all and He shall touch you at your point of needs.”
The virtual party, anchored by comedians, Gbenga Adeyinka and Tee A, was broadcast live on all social media platforms and on HIPTV, DStv and GOtv channels.
There were performances from Salawa Abeni, Shina Peters and K1 De Ultimate among others.
