Olori Silekunola Ogunwusi, wife of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, has called on the public to disregard rumours of trouble in their marriage.
The queen wrote in a post on Instagram on Monday that she would have ignored the rumours but for concerned persons who have been contacting them on the veracity of the claims.
She wrote, “There have been strange rumours and unfounded news making rounds on social media in recent times. I want all believers of good news to know that, it is all lies… Please disregard and jettison every fake and malicious news about me and my husband (Ooni Adeyeye Babatunde Enitan Ogunwusi) for ours is a love no earthly force is strong enough to break,we are very fine and healthy…”
Oba Ogunwusi married Olori Silekunola, a prophetess, in October 2018.
The reverred monarch said at the time that apart from her beauty, uniqueness and royal qualities, he loved the fear of God in her.
The Ooni was previously married to two women at separate times, the more recent of which was Queen Zaynab Otiti-Obanor.
