Celebrity disk jockey, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has revealed what she thinks is the correct pronunciation of fellow singer, Davido’s name.
The 27-year-old made the correction in a post she shared on Instastories on Thursday.
“…I don’t understand why people say Daavido cuz they don’t say Daavid…They say David…So it’s Davido…,” she said.
In October 2018, Cuppy similarly corrected singer, Speed Darlington, after he mispronounced her name in a video he shared expressing his wish to collaborate with her.
The ‘Gelato’ singer wrote on Instagram, “My name is pronounced as DJ ‘Copy’ not ‘Kupe’. Thank you.”
