Nollywood actress, Ufuoma McDermott, has advised her fans not to rely on giveaways to survive.

The 39-year-old gave the advice on Friday when she shared a message of gratitude from a fan who had won one of her giveaways.

She wrote, “…My dear followers, a giveaway is not a right to entitlement… Stop banking on giveaways to live…”

To celebrate her 39th birthday on April 23, the mother-of-two made a special birthday request to her fans, asking them to reconnect with loved ones.

She said, “… I want to ask for something special and I hope you’ll grant it because it’s my birthday… I want us to show love to our loved ones… Is there someone you haven’t spoken to in a long while?….I’m asking you to pick up the phone and call that person and say I love you…”
