Nollywood actor, IK Ogbonna, has expressed disgust at the crime rate in Lagos following a robbery attack on his wife, Sonia, and five-month-old son, Ace.
In an Instagram post late Friday the actor revealed that the incident happened in the Mile 2 area of the state.
“My wife and son were attacked around mile 2 in traffic and the bastards did not care if a baby was in the car, smashing the screen all over my 5 months old son” he wrote.
He added that his wife’s phone and handbag were snatched but added that the material loss was not that big of a deal.
IK, however, expressed his gratitude to God for keeping his family safe.
The incident, which happened on the day Governor Akinwunmi Ambode handed over N4.8bn security equipment to the Lagos Police Command, mirrors the October 8 attack on actress, Ireti Doyle, along Town Planning Way, Ilupeju.
