Nollywood actor, Deyemi Okalawon, has joked that his children are available for repainting walls with crayon, smashing appliances and generally turning a house upside down.
The Gidi Up star made the joke when he shared a Children’s Day message to them on Instagram on Wednesday.
He wrote, “Please if your house is too clean and tidy and you need ppl help you scatter it, repaint your walls with crayon and smash your home appliances…. look no further we are available for hire! #HappyChildrensDay!”
After he was criticised for sharing a picture of himself with one of his sons strapped to his back in August 2019, Deyemi told the Punch Newspapers that there is nothing wrong with carrying his child or helping with house chores.
“One of our goals as a couple and family is to attain a work-life balance and a measure of financial freedom. By the grace of God, I am now able to be more actively involved in raising and spending quality time with my boys, rather than overworking myself to pay bills while burdening my wife with all domestic chores, in addition to her already tasking career. I am sure you can imagine how much love and other things I’m getting from her in return, so at the end of the day, it’s a plus for me,” he said.
