I’d have turned out differently if dad were alive – Kunle Afolayan

Nollywood movie director, Kunle Afolayan, has stated that he would have probably been a different person if his father, Adeyemi Afolayan, were alive today.

The 45-year-old said this on Instagram on Thursday.

“My children asked me a few days ago if I missed and feel sad that my father passed long ago and he’s not here to witness how I have turned out. My response to them was that, yes, I miss my father so much but the honest truth is I wouldn’t have turned out the way I did if he was alive…,” he wrote.

 Adeyemi Afolayan, popularly known as Ade Love, was an actor, director and producer who died in 1996.

His other children, Gabriel Tayo, Moji and Aremu Afolayan, are also actors.
