The Oluwo of Iwoland, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi, has made customised face masks for his family and subjects.
The monarch said he made the customised face masks to encourage them to wear the items in prevention against the coronavirus.
“To keep my people safe in this hard times of Covid-19 I have to come up with an idea to encourage my people to wear the mask and all I did was to make thousands of custom face masks with my name Telu1 inscribed on it and with the love they have for me and it’s dear to their hearts taking a gift that will save lives from their king,” he wrote on Instagram earlier in the week.
Nigeria, as of Wednesday, had 8733 confirmed coronavirus cases while Osun State, where Iwo is located, had 44 confirmed cases.
