Transgender celebrity, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has reacted to his arrest for allegedly a businesswoman of N30 million.
The 28-year-old shared his reaction on Snapchat on Friday.
“Chai, plenty haters, they don’t wanna see me happy. Two face fools God will help me to punish you all. You will come to me and tell me you love me but go behind my back to spoil me. This should show you guys that I don’t deal with small money,” he wrote.
Bobrisky’s Wednesday arrest was confirmed on Thursday by the spokesperson of the Lagos State police command, Frank Mba.
“Yes, Bobrisky was arrested in the early hours of today following a petition by a Nigerian woman that the crossdresser collected N30m from her for sales but did not keep to the end of the deal,” he said.
He, however, added that the Lagos-born social media influencer had been granted bail.
This is not the first time Bobrisky has been arrested by the police.
On March 8, he was arrested for allegedly defrauding a business woman who had contracted him to help market a line of eyelashes.
In August 2019, his birthday party was disrupted by the police and he was reportedly detained at the police station.
