Singer, Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, has revealed that before the death of raggae singer, Majek Fashek, was announced, he suddenly felt the urge to play some of his songs at the dinner table.
The 28-year-old made this known when he paid tribute to the Rainmaker, as he was fondly called, on Twitter on Tuesday.
He wrote, “12 hours ago, at my dinner table I suddenly had the urge to play & gyrate & share Majek’s records from ‘I come from the ghetto’ to ‘African Unity.’ A true legend & inspiration, both lyrically & sonically!”
Majek’s death was confirmed on by his manager, Omenka Uzoma, in a video he shared on social media on Tuesday morning.
The singer died in New York City, United States of America following an undisclosed illness.
