Singer, Brymo, has revealed that he had to take commuter buses locally known as ‘danfo’ while holding his guitar when he was searching for a record deal in 2008.
The 34-year-old recounted his experience on Wednesday in reply to a Twitter user who asked people to share their ‘Danfo experience.’
“In ‘08 I was hunting for a record deal, and I would take Danfo from okoko to the mainland, usually three different buses before my final stop… with a guitar in hand, you can imagine how hard it is to maneuver getting on and off a bus without damaging the instrument,” he tweeted,
On June 1, the singer whose real name is Olawale Oloforo, caused a stir on Twitter after he asked if “rapist a new word for anyone doing something of note these days ??”
A lot of people pointed that his comment was insensitive, especially since he has previously been accused of rape which he has repeatedly denied.
