Nigeria striker, Odion Ighalo, has revealed the secret behind his sensational debut season in English top flight.
The Watford goal poacher has netted eight times this term in the league – a feat only bettered by Leicester city’s Jamie Vardy and Everton’s Romelu Lukaku.
And just like popular Nigerian reggae/dancehall act, Patoranking, the former Granada striker describes his woman as his “everything”.
The father of three disclosed that a stable family life and the support of his wife, who regularly travels to see her him in action, have enabled him to produce his best at Vicarage Road.
“My wife has been very crucial to my impressive career,” Ighalo confessed to Goal.
“She has been able to build a good home and she makes me and the children happy. She is everything to me.
“I want to say that my marriage which marked six years recently has made me to be a complete man.”
Meanwhile, the 26-year-old is in line to win his second successive African Player award for the month of November.
The Nigerian faces competition from Andre Ayew of Ghana, Yannick Bolasie from DR Congo and Arouna Kone from Cote d’Ivoire for the best African player in the English Premier League.
