Singer, Kizz Daniel, has paid tribute to his father, Kola Anidugbe, who died in 2015, on what would have been his birthday.
The 26-year-old whose real name is Oluwatobiloba Anidugbe, shared the birthday message on Wednesday when he shared an Instagram picture of a painting of his father.
“Happy birthday to my hero, my dad. Rest on, daddy,” he wrote.
In July 2017, Kizz Daniel claimed that he was prevented from attending his father’s funeral by his former label, G-Worldwide.
“This is the same label that forced Kiss Daniel to perform few days after his father’s death and while still in the village trying to give his father a befitting burial. They put money first. They insisted he must interrupt his father burial rites and must perform or they will crush him in the industry,” a statement by his lawyer read in part.
