First Lady of Kaduna State, Hadiza El-Rufai, has shared a throwback picture of herself and husband, Nasir El-Rufai, while they were courting.
Mrs El-Rufai shared the picture on Twitter on Saturday believed to have been taken more than three decades ago.
“My (then) boyfriend and I,” she captioned it.
Giving details about the photograph, El-Rufai wrote in a separate tweet that the picture was taken at his wife’s sister’s wedding picnic in 1984.
“THROWBACK 1984: With my fiancée & lucky mascot, Hadiza Isma at Tiga Dam, Kano for the wedding picnic of her sister Fatima Isma-Abdullahi and my good friend Tijjani Mohammed Abdullahi. Alhamdulillah! How time flies!!” he wrote.
The first lady, whose family is active on social media, recently clocked 60.
On Friday, her husband congratulated her and their son, Bello, on the emergence of Liverpool as champions of England.
